Quit Changing What Made This App Special — I don’t know what you did with the latest update, but it has completely ruined notability on my computer (desktop app). I can no longer search through all my notes, which I can still do on my iPad. Instead, it just searches the note titles. Account now required — Have used this for years without issues. All notes saved locally. Today, attempted to review a note and it’s locked behind an account setup page. 3 document limit — When I first bought the app, I had unlimited documents I could save. Then I got a new iPad. I downloaded it to the new iPad. Now it wants me to pay a monthly fee. Is this the only version now?

Of course features disappear after update… — Seems the rule of thumb these days is that any app update is going to remove features or suddenly paywall them. Today, it’s that all my private folders I use for journaling and client notes can no longer be made private. CRASHING ALOT — I use to love this app but ever since my switch to Goodnotes 6, I’m constantly experiencing instances where the app is crashing on me. I never used that have this type of issue before with Goodnotes 5.

Don’t update! It so glitched and they never fixed it! — I been using this since HS, It’s so bad and keeping getting worse. Like after I update the app to the new version this thing start to glitch af!! Customer service never replied, contact support on the app is not allowing user to send the message for help! Bad Updates — I used to love Goodnotes so much but this latest update has killed it for me and made me wish I didn’t pay for the lifetime. Trying to take notes but constantly having to switch the tools back to text, no undo button on the computer screen, and much more is so frustrating and makes note-taking much, much longer.

Why would I use a notes app with ads? — The only difference between this app and any other note-taking app that I’ve noticed is that this one has a ton of ads before you can open a notebook. It’s easier to just…use a real notebook. Such a silly thing to try to push a subscription service for. I mean it’s not like I pay monthly for my normal notebooks.
