App Imp reads public App Store reviews and counts what they say. You can use the whole free side of it without an account, without a password, and without telling us who you are.

What we never collect

  • No accounts, so no names, passwords or profiles.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking, and no data sold or shared with advertisers.
  • No card details. Payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page — we never see or store your card.

What we do collect

  • Anonymous usage analytics via PostHog: which pages load, which searches run, which buttons get clicked. It is configured with in-memory persistence, so it does not write a tracking cookie or follow you between visits.
  • Session replays of site interactions, used to find broken flows. Text you type into email and password fields is masked before it ever leaves your browser.
  • Your email address, but only if you type it in — to send you a Deep Report you asked for, or with feedback you chose to leave. We use it for that, and we do not run a marketing list.
  • The category you searched, so we know which markets to count next.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address for rate limiting (SHA-256). We store the hash, never the address itself.

Who processes it

Supabase (database and functions), Vercel (hosting), PostHog (analytics), Stripe (payments) and Resend (the emails we send you). Each processes data on our behalf under its own terms.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Because there are no accounts, the practical case is an email address you gave us and the record attached to it. Email hello@appimp.app and we will action it — deletion within 30 days, usually the same week.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. App Imp is run from Estonia by one person; if anything here is unclear, ask and you will get a straight answer rather than a form response.
