App Imp is run from Estonia by Mihkel Sylla, a one-person operation. Using the site means accepting what follows. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What the free side is
Anyone can run Basic reports without an account. There is a fair-use limit of 20 reports per day per network so the corpus stays fast for everyone. We may change or pause the free tier; we will not charge you for it without asking first.
What you buy
A Deep Report costs €9 and is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. For that you get one report on one category, generated from our review corpus: the complaint gap counted against a cross-app norm, who leaves it open, what to ship first, what incumbents charge, and where the read could be wrong. It is delivered on screen and by email, usually within minutes.
You can use the report however you like — quote it, paste it into a deck, share it with a co-founder or an investor. We ask only that you do not resell it as a product of your own.
What a report is not
Every number is real arithmetic over real public reviews, and every quote is verbatim. But a report describes what users have written, not what your product will do. It is research, not a guarantee, and not business, legal, financial or investment advice. Deciding to build something is your call, and the outcome is yours.
We also depend on Apple’s public review data. If it is incomplete, stale or wrong, our count inherits that. Where we know a number’s limits, the report says so.
Liability
We do our best to keep the site up and the numbers right, but we provide it as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to App Imp is capped at what you paid us — for a Deep Report, €9. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Refunds
Covered separately on the refunds page, and the short version is that if the report was not worth it, you get your money back.
Governing law and contact
Estonian law applies. Questions, complaints and disputes start with an email to hello@appimp.app — it reaches a person, not a queue.
