How this is scored

Weighted mean of the sub-scores, weights re-normalized over whatever is computable (nobody's fixed it 25 · how far above typical 20 · how angry 15 · people in the market 15 · room to enter 15 · willingness to pay 10). Fixed anchors map each count to 0–100: breadth and willingness-to-pay are straight shares; the gap’s heat tops out at 4times the store’s typical rate; anger scores star3 as 0 and star1.5 as 100; reach runs 104 to 107ratings on a log scale; room to enter is one minus the leader’s share of shelf ratings. A factor that cannot be counted is dropped and named — never imputed. The site’s one composite (#115, owner decision 2026-08-15); cited industry benchmarks are never blended in.

Nice but lots of flawed bugs — I’ve had this app for about five years. Please listen to this if you plan to use this between your partner and you or your family as your new organization app. It’s certainly better than having nothing, my partner and I have used it to keep track of our grocery list in real time. Before I get into the mini issues, just know that there are better apps. I’m gonna beCozi Family Organizer · 3star · May 4, 2026
Lousy Layout — Layout sucks, too hard to find tasks and delete them. Mind you, I’m 27. Not some old boomer. The layout of this app is just absolutely horrendous and editing or deleting stuff is like going on a scavenger hunt with no list of items or clues to find the items.Cozi Family Organizer · 1star · May 2, 2026
Deletes list items — The entire point of the app is shared lists, but sometimes it randomly deletes items after you add them. It also has a lot of ads and a clunky UX, but that would be okay if it worked to maintain shared lists. Unfortunately it doesn’t.Cozi Family Organizer · 1star · Apr 25, 2026

Bugs with Apple — Interactions for notes do not work. Reached out to fix but no response. When the face icon is selected to bring up interactions for a note, it says “No results found.” I need to reply with an emoji instead. Also when notification is selected, doesn’t always open the task card.Trello: Daily Task Tracker · 2star · Aug 10, 2026
Doesn’t play well with digital displays — I’ve subscribed to Cozi Gold since 2017 and love it, but will be cancelling my account. We have a digital display (Mango Display) and for months Cozi worked great. In February there was an update causing all day events to start at either 11pm the day prior or 4am day of. On very, very rare occasions it displays the start time correctly for a very short amoCozi Family Organizer · 3star · Jul 18, 2026

Can’t log in — I can no longer log into this app on my phone, which makes it useless. No matter what I click, including contacting support, I get a message saying it can’t connect to the server. I don’t have this issue with any other app on my phone.Trello: Daily Task Tracker · 2star · Jul 23, 2026

Expired Responsibilities — We've been using this app as a family for quite some time and really love it overall. It clearly differentiates between responsibilities we do because we're part of a family versus paid jobs, and I appreciate that kids can have separate jars for spending, saving, and donating. My main issue: while chores can be set without time limits, responsibilities now expire. If kiHomey - Chores and Allowance · 2star · Aug 11, 2026

Used to be good — This app used to be great, creator was willing to work on issues. Now the chores between 5 kids are always uneven, which defeats the purpose of the app. I reached out months ago. And no response. Reached out again last week, and again, no response. We’ll be looking for a new chores app I guess!Chorsee: Chores Tracker · 2star · Jul 28, 2026

How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly — nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A shelf rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 12,122 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the shelf carries it and at least 20 reviews are behind it — a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug. This shelf has no full report yet, so the per-app notes and the anger axis are absent rather than estimated.
