Overcharging — I signed up for a trial but never downloaded the app or used it Due to my mental and physical limitations I can’t remember if I cancelled. But you have charged me 39.99 3 times each month. I request and expect a refund

I do like the book, but this app has so many design flaws — Hello James, I've read the book and I really liked it. However, this app is littered with design flaws I have to uninstall it: 1. Paid users can't create more than 6 habits. This is a pretty strange design. A paid user is supposed to create unlimited amount of habits and not get hard locked to only 6 habits. A paid user pays $5/month or

Limited without subscription — $5.99 a week or $99.99 a year. Without paying one of those, you are limited to only 5 free habits. No more than that. Doesn’t work for what I need.

Nice but a few drawbacks — The family share doesn’t work. Paid for family premium access, followed the directions on both Google and the customer service but still didn’t work. For personal use I do enjoy the app. But the whole reason for getting it was to be able to do a 75 soft challenge with family.

Do not download — Awful predatory practices. Nearly impossible to cancel and faulty charges.

Scammers — I did not simply delete the app and assume that meant my subscription was cancelled. I went into the app, followed the process to cancel my subscription, and received a screen confirming “You have cancelled your subscription.” And yet… I was charged again. I contacted support, explained what happened, and requested a refund. They refused. That’s an unacceptable experience. If your ow

Glitches are making me lose motivation — I’ve been using this app for years without issue. Then there was an update to add a streak to the daily habits. For whatever reason, if I miss a day, the app doesn’t recognize the calendar day I’m on. Instead, it restarts me on Monday regardless of what day in the week it is. It’s been enough of a frustration and distraction that I’m finding myself not usin

Bait and Switch — I bought the premium version year ago and when they updated I lost everything. I even backed up to the cloud but they would not restore my purchase so I lost years of data. Put these guys in jail.

Not syncing — I originally set all my habits on my iPad and then it synced up perfectly with my phone. I then recently got a new iPad and tried several times to sync it with my phone. I tried everything. All iCloud settings are enabled. I googled and double checked everything but it is still blank on my iPad. How do I get this to sync on my iPad???

Too frenetic — App totally too confusing and extremely frenetic. Don’t know how anyone with ADHD can get anywhere with this app. I certainly couldn’t. Wasted $10 for a “free trial” and can’t find anyway to stop app from charging more. Totally want nothing to do with this app. I don’t see how it works except to be very frustrating

  • Habit Tracker1star· Aug 25, 2026

Confusing — I started using this app recently but find it confusing and overwhelming with too much on each steps.

  • Fabulous: Daily Habit Tracker1star· Aug 24, 2026

The billing practices of this app should be illegal—hundreds of dollars of duplicate bills — The alarming thing about this app is that it promotes itself as ADHD support then discretely makes multiple frivolous debit card charges that someone with ADHD is less likely to notice happening. Then it creates a tedious hours-long process to correct the matter or unsubscribe from accounts if you want to

How markets are ranked

We give each market a mark out of 100 for seven things (nobody's fixed it 20 · above the norm 15 · how angry 10 · room to build 15 · room to enter 15 · getting bigger 20 · willingness to pay 5). Then we multiply the marks together. We do not average them.

Averaging lets a market hide one bad problem behind good numbers. Multiplying means one bad mark pulls the whole score down. That is the point. A market you cannot win is still a market you cannot win, however badly it is served.

Each mark has a fixed rule. Nobody’s fixed it and willingness to pay are plain shares. Above the norm maxes out at 4 times the store’s usual rate. How angry runs from star3.0 down to star1.5. Room to enter is what the biggest app does not own. Getting bigger hits 100 at 10% growth. Room to build is different. It is a sweet spot, not a size. A market can be too small to live on, or too big to break into.

If we cannot count something, we leave it out. We never guess it. The score only sorts this list. Every other number you see on a market is counted.

How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly: nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A market rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 12,728 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the market carries it, at least 20 reviews are behind it, and the market’s rate is elevated above the store’s, the same cutoff used everywhere on this site, because a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug, and a problem every app on the store shares is nobody’s gap.
