User — I was enjoying it but with software updates it tells me to download the latest version but will not allow it (I guess the new version can’t be run on older platforms). So, it still asks me to download the new version each time I open it, and it now no longer syncs between devices. And, as far as I can tell, there is NO WAY to contact customer support or get any help with it. A useful tool w

Delays in updating the data and data loss — You change it on iPhone app, it can’t sync, overrides by desktop version, you lose your updated data. Ongoing problem for years.

Not syncing with my lap top — App on phone is not showing lists i made on my computer. Boards made show but nothing on them

gTasks is better — For the biggest tech company this side of the Sun, it’s clunky, unreliable, not nearly as smooth and intuitive as gTasks, and I simply don’t like it.

  • TickTick:To-Do List & Calendar2star· Aug 15, 2026

99 task limit — I love the Eisenhower matrix and the ways you can organize your tasks. but the free version only allows you to create 99 tasks per list at a time. the whole point of the app is to be a to-do list where I can add tasks, so why is there a limit (and such a small limit at that)? It feels counter-intuitive tbh

So difficult — Why can't I just search for a card when I know the name of it? Jesus the iPhone UI sucks!

Horrible customer service — This company will go to great lengths to avoid a three or five minute phone call. I have literally tried to solve a problem that could’ve been solved in five minutes for many months and they just simply are a broken system. I cannot recommend that you invest in Assna. And, I say that after having been a loyal customer for several years. They simply will not have any re

Bugs with Apple — Interactions for notes do not work. Reached out to fix but no response. When the face icon is selected to bring up interactions for a note, it says “No results found.” I need to reply with an emoji instead. Also when notification is selected, doesn’t always open the task card.

HORRIBLE — Used for one day, charged me for a year wouldn’t refund. Told them to cancel my account then charged me AGAIN for a year a year later. Paid for two year subscription and there’s no where to cancel on the app. Horrible customer service, horrible app. Unbelievable. This app is a scam

  • Notion: Notes, Tasks, AI2star· Sep 2, 2026

Incredibly buggy — The iPad app is genuinely unusable due to bugs. There's a bug where whenever you try to select something to type the viewport moves to somewhere else on the document so you can't see what you're doing. This also happens when you type at all. Sometimes it teleports your cursor somewhere else on the document so you type things in completely the wrong place. Incredibly frustrating.

Why doesn’t this app ever work!?!?!!!!! — From insanely slow loading to constant crashes… I can’t waste more time listing all the things that do not work with this app. I’m baffled how, in 2026, a tech company with a great product can’t figure out mobile. I need to just fully migrate to google docs and just be done with this mess.

  • Notion: Notes, Tasks, AI2star· Aug 18, 2026

Great app, just really buggy! — I love Notion, I love the various templates I can use and how more organized I feel once I started using Notion—the only problem being… how buggy it is: widgets on phone screen don’t work properly; they just keep loading endlessly…Sometimes you can’t delete text; it just stays there. You have to select the text and do the cut option just to get rid of it, which is a

Great before the most recent update (2026) — Users used to be able to browse and add templates from the web app, desktop app, or the mobile app. Recently, they removed that ability for users on the mobile app. Incredibly annoying to have to log in on a PC just to add a template. The whole point of Notion is to increase productivity. Forcing users to jump through hoops to use basic functions of the

Cant login — I like this application just find I set up my account in my computer and used a gmail address to sign in. I cant log into the app because it wants a password which you don’t setup when you use google to login. So I cant login to the app. Useless…

  • Trello: Daily Task Tracker2star· Jul 23, 2026

Can’t log in — I can no longer log into this app on my phone, which makes it useless. No matter what I click, including contacting support, I get a message saying it can’t connect to the server. I don’t have this issue with any other app on my phone.

Who’s in it

All 13 apps counted in this market · 2026-09-02.

Motion: Tasks & AI Scheduling is the biggest app here that has stopped shipping. Last update 10 months ago, at 357,324 installs.

Apps count as part of a market for 90 days after they last appear in it. Installs are Google Play's own count, last captured 2026-09-13. 11 of 13 apps have an Android listing we could match. A dash means we could not pair the two stores, not that the app is absent from Play. Amber marks an app that has not shipped in over 90 days, the 90th percentile across every market we hold.

How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly: nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A market rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 12,743 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the market carries it, at least 20 reviews are behind it, and the market’s rate is elevated above the store’s, the same cutoff used everywhere on this site, because a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug, and a problem every app on the store shares is nobody’s gap. This market has no full report yet, so the per-app notes are absent rather than estimated. The anger axis is counted either way: mean star of the reviews carrying each theme, from the same classifier as the counts above.
