How this is scored

Weighted mean of the sub-scores, weights re-normalized over whatever is computable (nobody's fixed it 25 · how far above typical 20 · how angry 15 · people in the market 15 · room to enter 15 · willingness to pay 10). Fixed anchors map each count to 0–100: breadth and willingness-to-pay are straight shares; the gap’s heat tops out at 4times the store’s typical rate; anger scores star3 as 0 and star1.5 as 100; reach runs 104 to 107ratings on a log scale; room to enter is one minus the leader’s share of shelf ratings. A factor that cannot be counted is dropped and named — never imputed. The site’s one composite (#115, owner decision 2026-08-15); cited industry benchmarks are never blended in.

Not seeing growth or help — This has to be the most insane thing I’ve ever tried because I don’t see the growth. The numbers don’t match the actual growth that I have on YouTube so I’m not understanding what does this thing does because it’s not reflecting what I actually have done and the work that I put in, everything‘s behind it’s incorrect . It doesn’t show the right percentages you know andTracker for YouTube | Creatipi · 3star · Aug 22, 2026
Makes things worse — Hey, I downloaded your app to better my videos I mean it does give me some suggestion, but even when I upgrade my video is still says that’s bad also like I upload I uploaded a lyric video to your app and it missed the context and gives me a wrong description i definitely don’t and won’t recommend your app thank you for wasting my time.Go Viral: AI Creator Assistant · 1star · Jul 25, 2026

Stole my money — I did do a free trial but it ended August 3rd. But that’s not the worst part. When I got money into my Apple account it immediately stole all the money I had in my account. And it made me make a purchase on the app a million times. I’m really need a refundGo Viral: AI Creator Assistant · 1star · Aug 10, 2026
I don’t trust it — This app works, and is actually somewhat helpful, but I have a hard time trusting it. First off, it relies heavily on generative ai which is already a red flag, but it also requires full access to your account. In theory it could start uploading things to your account without you even knowing. Also, way too much is behind a paywall. Money Grab, Constant Troubleshootinh — Every day I have to re login to my account and re authorize my account. Sometimes I have to do it 5 times in a row for it to even work. If you even want to learn anything about your niche and channel $19 a month. Ask to rate your shorts $19 a month. Complete scam if you don’t pay.vidIQ for YouTube & Instagram · 1star · Jun 28, 2026

Scummy — They changed the app to be unusable by putting it behind a paywall. Used to be ads which was fine I understand they need money but now they are charging for something I can make with Claude in 10 minutes. Glitch? — I don’t know if it’s a glitch but when I tried to generate titles for my YT shorts it said I needed the boost version but it used my ai credits and when I tried to get a Coach there wasn’t a button to chat with him so I tried to get out and back in but it made me redo the little quiz over and over againvidIQ for YouTube & Instagram · 3star · Aug 4, 2026

Vid Iq is trash — Vid IQ is absolutely garbage. I upgraded to find out that even with $60 you’re still limited. It doesn’t process requests and burns 3x the amount just about every request. Once I upgraded they just bug out more and make you use more of your credits. This app is a scam. Absolutely worthless. The YouTube channels are cool though. What each one owns, where each is exposed

Social Network Analyzer

Owns. Early mover, broadest IAP tier ladder (10 tiers, up to $14.99)

Exposed. 89% negative — the most hated app in the set; data stops updating, strangers/friends tabs go blank, support never responds, paid access randomly revoked; rating_count 406 signals limited reach but concentrated fury

Owns. AI-framed positioning, meaningful reach (rating_count 1,704), IAP up to $49.99

Exposed. 75% negative; AI feedback called generic and wrong even on confirmed viral videos — accuracy failure at the product's core claim

ReelTrends - AI Creator Tools

Owns. Largest reach in the set (rating_count 20,011), broad IAP range ($2.99–$59.99, 9 tiers)

Exposed. 55% negative; near-total instant paywall with no free preview drives mass uninstalls; billing rage dominates receipts

Owns. Solid reach (rating_count 3,709), wide IAP ceiling ($139.99)

Exposed. 54% negative; crashes on core workflows, fabricated posting-time recommendations, 404 support page — pays-then-breaks pattern

Owns. Established user base (rating_count 824), no IAP friction (null tiers)

Exposed. 57% negative; removed the key 'unfollowed' feature that drove downloads, inaccurate premium data packs — feature regression as monetization

Owns. Second-largest reach (rating_count 18,849), proven subscription model ($8.99–$199, 10 tiers), only 24% negative

Exposed. Category benchmark — low anger means it has mostly solved billing and UX; the opening is NOT here, but its model proves high-ticket creator subscriptions work

Owns. Lowest anger in IAP-free tier (11% negative), meaningful reach (rating_count 1,724)

Exposed. No IAP — leaves monetization entirely on the table; limited feature depth likely explains low anger

Luvi (formerly Club)

Owns. Largest reach outside ReelTrends/vidIQ (rating_count 18,734), 7% negative — happiest user base

Exposed. Creator monetization/payout focus, not analytics — different job-to-be-done; payout delay and 40% manual-payout fee revealed in receipts

Owns. 26% negative, Twitter-native focus

Exposed. Fetch errors render core unfollow function broken; no IAP means no demonstrated monetization path here

Mysocial: AI Creator Manager

Owns. Widest IAP ceiling in the set ($199.99), multi-platform framing

Exposed. 60% negative on only 15 captured reviews (rating_count 186) — too small to read reliably, but highest price ceiling with lowest reach is a concerning ratio

How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly — nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A shelf rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 12,122 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the shelf carries it and at least 20 reviews are behind it — a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug.
