How this is scored

Weighted mean of the sub-scores, weights re-normalized over whatever is computable (nobody's fixed it 25 · how far above typical 20 · how angry 15 · people in the market 15 · room to enter 15 · willingness to pay 10). Fixed anchors map each count to 0–100: breadth and willingness-to-pay are straight shares; the gap’s heat tops out at 4times the store’s typical rate; anger scores star3 as 0 and star1.5 as 100; reach runs 104 to 107ratings on a log scale; room to enter is one minus the leader’s share of shelf ratings. A factor that cannot be counted is dropped and named — never imputed. The site’s one composite (#115, owner decision 2026-08-15); cited industry benchmarks are never blended in.

Got worse after new update — The videos take so much longer to upload now, the checks take even longer and the interface may seem clean but I like the notification on the Home Screen by my videos letting me know the monetization is ok.YouTube Studio · 1star · Jun 24, 2026
Stick to the free AI platforms — I have been using the vidIQ Boost plan for about eight months, and I have not seen strong results. I expected more growth or useful insights, but my channel performance has stayed about the same. The tools look helpful at first, but they have not made a clear difference in my workflow. I do not think the Boost plan is worth the price based on my experience. One feavidIQ for YouTube & Instagram · 2star · May 8, 2026
I love you but — The main problem with this App is that it is Not a one-stop-shop for managing my YouTube channel, content, and uploading functions. Some functions are only possible on the YouTube App, such as changing the Thumbnail frame on a short. The UIUX when uploading a new Short is just clunky. Like typing the title and then trying to click out of it’s not user friendly and lacks function.YouTube Studio · 3star · Mar 3, 2026

Not seeing growth or help — This has to be the most insane thing I’ve ever tried because I don’t see the growth. The numbers don’t match the actual growth that I have on YouTube so I’m not understanding what does this thing does because it’s not reflecting what I actually have done and the work that I put in, everything‘s behind it’s incorrect . It doesn’t show the right percentages you know andTracker for YouTube | Creatipi · 3star · Aug 22, 2026
Useless — What’s the point if I can’t upload a video from app files? All it allows it to uploads from the photo library and it’s tiring to move files to photos library from a different folder in an iPhone. Devs please fix thisYouTube Studio · 1star · Aug 5, 2026

Glitchy — The app used to work pretty well but now it’s really glitchy and burns up your phone.Thumbnail Maker: YT Banner Art · 3star · Aug 15, 2026
Glitch? — I don’t know if it’s a glitch but when I tried to generate titles for my YT shorts it said I needed the boost version but it used my ai credits and when I tried to get a Coach there wasn’t a button to chat with him so I tried to get out and back in but it made me redo the little quiz over and over againvidIQ for YouTube & Instagram · 3star · Aug 4, 2026
I don’t trust it — This app works, and is actually somewhat helpful, but I have a hard time trusting it. First off, it relies heavily on generative ai which is already a red flag, but it also requires full access to your account. In theory it could start uploading things to your account without you even knowing. Also, way too much is behind a paywall. This is so dumb — Ok so my account is hobby hut and I got flagged for being a minor which is not true I have puberphonia/ mutational falsetto where I sound the same as I did before puberty despite being fully matured. I was attempting to explain this in the appeal however not only did it crash but also why in the world is there a 100 character limit? Can’t Even Login… — Honestly how many idiots at Google does it take to make a basic goddamn login feature that works? Apparently they ditched their Actual development team for a bunch of six-year-olds in Bangladesh… although I’m pretty certain that a six-year-old from Bangladesh would have more confidence than the entire development team combined. How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly — nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A shelf rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 12,122 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the shelf carries it and at least 20 reviews are behind it — a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug.
