Inaccurate naming of locations. — Lake Ontario was named by indigenous people long before European settlers arrived. This petty name change is a disgrace to those indigenous people.

Worst navigation app — I had used Waze for years and ended up deleting it not once but twice. Cool it shows you where cops are but that’s about the only thing that this app has going for it. On multiple occasions it has taken me down one way roads… going the wrong direction. Also it can’t seem to find my location even though I changed the setting to “always” when it came to tracking my location an

It feels like forever ago, but they used to have desktop software that very quickly pulled videos and photos off their dashcams using USB. It was really speedy and super reliable. Now they force you to use thi

Really wanted to like Waze — I really wanted to like Waze, after deleting Google Maps for the endless ads and sponsored results got in the way. I tried getting used to Waze, as it takes time to adapt to a new interface, but it is simply getting frustrating and clunky. 1) It’s hard to customize the route start point. Often times I want to see the time/distance between 2 places. But with Waze, if

Who’s in it

All 12 apps counted in this market · 2026-09-14.

Apps count as part of a market for 90 days after they last appear in it. Installs are Google Play's own count, last captured 2026-09-14. 9 of 12 apps have an Android listing we could match. A dash means we could not pair the two stores, not that the app is absent from Play.

How this is counted

Every number is arithmetic over the reviews we hold, re-counted weekly: nothing modelled, nothing scored. Themes come from a frozen pattern classifier rather than a model reading reviews, so the same review always lands in the same bucket. A market rate is pooled across every app here; the store rate is the same count across 13,217 apps. A complaint is only called a gap when at least half the market carries it, at least 20 reviews are behind it, and the market’s rate is elevated above the store’s, the same cutoff used everywhere on this site, because a problem concentrated in one app is that app’s bug, and a problem every app on the store shares is nobody’s gap. This market has no full report yet, so the per-app notes are absent rather than estimated. The anger axis is counted either way: mean star of the reviews carrying each theme, from the same classifier as the counts above.
